Use welcome series workflow run through a series of message to engage with new contacts.
Setting up Workflow
Select Workflow Playbook
Go to workflow playbooks page and select Welcome Series playbook.
Workflow Configurations
There are various ways to setup trigger for welcome series. The default trigger we use in our playbook is Added to List trigger. Depending on your preference, you can also use the following triggers.
- Added to Segment
- Added to Tag
In this playbook, we will send 2 emails to contact.
- Select Email (Step 2) and add new email with using template "Welcome Series (1st Email)" email template. We will welcome new contact and get them to follow us on social media.
- Select Email (Step 5) and add new email with using template "Welcome Series (2nd Email for Existing Customer)". This email will recommend products to existing customers.
- Select Email (Step 6) and add new email with using template "Welcome Series (2nd Email for Non-Customer)". This email will give non-customer a discount code for their first purchase.
Click Submit to create workflow. That's it, setting up Welcome Series Workflow is easy when you are creating from playbook.
