If your ecommerce platform doesn't support auto-generated coupons, you would need to manually add coupons for reward.
Keep in mind that manually adding coupons in Reperks will not auto-generate coupons on ecommerce platform. You need to manually create the coupons by yourself within your ecommerce platform.
Coupons Usage Type
First, you need to first decide whether you want to add one-time coupon or ongoing coupon.
- One-time coupon - Can only be used once. If you choose to use this, you should have a dynamic way to bulk generate coupon codes from your ecommerce platform.
- Ongoing coupon - Coupon can be reused multiple times. Use this if there are no reliable ways for you to bulk generate coupon codes from ecommerce platform. Advantage of using this is that you won't run out of available coupons.
What happens if one-time coupon runs out?
If you're only using one-time coupon, you may run out of available coupons. When coupon runs out, reward will be inactive until there's available coupons.
Generate Coupons Codes from Ecommerce Platform
Next, you need to generate and prepare coupon codes from ecommerce platform. If you are bulk generating coupon codes, export them to a CSV file withcode column.
Adding Coupons
To add coupons, go to store rewards page. Then click View Coupons for reward.
Next, you can either add a single coupon or upload coupons via CSV. Adding single coupon is pretty straightforward so we'll skip that and elaborate more on uploading coupons.
For uploading coupon, you will need to provide us with a CSV file withcode column specified. From there you can choose to bulk add/delete coupon.
