Allowing users to submit reviews via email forms is a very bad practice. Even though this is used by many reviews vendors, OnVoard choose to adopt to best practices for email marketing and not support forms submission via email.
- Embedded forms within email are generally "insecure" for recipient. In the past, scammers frequently use embedded form to trick recipients into submitting their bank details.
- Not all email clients support embedded forms.
Embedding forms into email heavily increase the odds of email being treated as spam. At OnVoard, we also run an email marketing platform. We know first hand how challenging it is to get email delivered right into inbox.
Practices such as allow users to submit reviews via email forms should be frown upon. Just ask yourself, if forms submission via email is viable, why every single major survey platforms like SurveyMonkey, Google Forms and Typeform require you to go-through a link to fill in a survey.
