This is to avoid conflicts in configurations for your ecommerce platform. For example, let's say if we allow 1 store to be connected to 2 different accounts, A and B. Given the following scenario:
- Account A set
install scripts
as turned on. - Account B set
install scripts
as turned off.
In this case, OnVoard won't be able to decide if we should install scripts onto your store since both accounts specify different install settings.
Can I switch store connection to another account?
Not really. Store can only be connected to an account at any point in time. This is to prevent confusion because if we allow multiple stores to connect to a single account, your account will have products from both stores. Each account is always be exclusively assigned to 1 store.
