Product recommendations in email
You can use recommender app to generate and add product recommendations to email for the following logic:
- Frequently Bought Together
- Also Bought
- Similar Items
- Best Selling
- Handpicked Items
- Trending
- Selling Fast
- Selling Out Soon
- New Arrivals
- Discounted Items
- Top Rated
- Recently Sold
- Recently Reviewed
Follow steps below to setup recommender.
1) Install Product Recommender
First, you need to install product recommender.
2) Setup Product Recommender
After installation, go to recommenders page and add a new recommender.
Go to Settings > View and select Email . Then save recommender. After created, this recommender will be eligible for Email's product list block.
3) Select Recommender for Email
To use recommender for Email's product list block, pick Recommendations for selection. Then select your recommender to use for generating product recommendations.
Product base recommendation logic
These are logics that generate recommendations base on product inputs.
There's an additional recommender base config if you are using these logics.
Current Context - Select this to generate recommendations based on current email context. For example, in price drop email, recommendations will be generated for price dropped product.
Contact Activities - Select this to generate recommendations based on products previously purchased or viewed by contact. Use this to generate "You May Be Interested" recommendations.
Meta Label
For product recommendations selection, you will also be presented with an option to display meta label. Turn it on to provide more intuitive recommendations.
