Getting Started with Workflows
Workflow is a sequence of tasks to execute for contact when an event has occurred. Using Workflow, you can automate tasks such as:
- Sending checkout abandonment email
- Sending review request email after purchase
- Run new contacts through welcome series.
- Send price drop email email.
Workflow Steps
Each step is a task to execute within a workflow. There are various types of steps:
Trigger: Events that start a workflow. Each workflow can only have 1 trigger.
Email: Send email to contact.
Action: Execute actions like adding/removing tags.
Delay: Wait for specified period before proceeding to next step.
Wait: Wait until conditions are met.
Filter: Only proceed to next step if filter conditions are met.
Branch: Split paths based on conditions or percentage (for A/B test). Can only be added at the end of workflow.
