Hide campaign from users who've already engaged
This setting has been removed. We moved your campaigns onto Completion Filtering for you, so there's nothing you need to do.
What changed
The old setting hid a campaign from anyone who'd clicked anything in it. On a multi-page campaign, that fired on the very first button. Someone who clicked Spin on page 1 and closed the tab never saw that campaign again, even though they gave you nothing. Blunt.
Your campaigns now hide once a visitor finishes the whole thing instead.
That's the strictest version of the new setting, so nobody who already completed a campaign starts seeing it again.
Why your impressions might go up
Visitors who clicked something but never finished get another look now. Those are people who were being hidden from an offer they never actually took, which is the exact group a capture campaign exists to reach. If impressions tick up there, that's the fix working.
Start with your multi-page campaigns. That's where the old gate cost you the most, so that's where the recovered traffic shows up.
Stopping earlier
Waiting for the whole campaign might be too late for you. Pick a Completed Page and you move the finish line earlier. Say the first capture page, if an email is all you're really after. A visitor who gives you that stops seeing the campaign, even when there's a reward or an upsell page sitting after it.
Pick nothing and it stays as it is.
